Is a small drip enough to keep the clutch from getting pressure?
The nut on the end of the rubber hosing that conects to the slave cylinder is allowing a small drip. Its on a 1992 nissan 240sx hatch. Can this be a reason the clutch is not getting pressure. if so, what fix is there.
If fluid comes out that means air is going in. ANY air in the system will cause problems.
Parts for this could be as little as $30 to fix it. I am not sure if you mean the rubber boot on the slave is leaking or the line that goes to it. If it is the slave you can buy a brand new one for $30 or less from any parts store. If it is the rubber hose you can get it at any dealer for about $30.
